The Closest airport to the Armada Hotel is Shannon Airport (SNN), which is about an hour drive (approximately 34 miles).

There are a couple options to get you from the airport to the hotel: Taxi or Car Rental (We recommend a car rental as it will give you more freedom to get around and check out the beautiful country side!).

Flying into Dublin is another option (maybe spend a night or two and get a chance to explore Ireland's capital!) The distance from Dublin to the Armada Hotel is about a 3 hour drive (approximately 174 miles). We highly recommend renting a car if traveling from Dublin.

For our guests coming from the states please be aware that most flights leaving the US leave mid to late evening and will arrive in Ireland very early the next morning.

Example: A direct flight from Boston/New York to Shannon Airport usually leaves around 7:55pm est. and arrives the next day around 6am Ireland time, please note Ireland is 5 hours ahead of the East Coast.
